Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew in performing landscape maintenance, gardening, and lawn care tasks efficiently and safely
- Operate and drive various landscaping vehicles and equipment, ensuring proper handling and maintenance
- Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
- Assist with landscape construction projects, including planting, irrigation installation, and tree care
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
- Support crew members with technical guidance on horticulture practices, pest management, and maintenance procedures
- Maintain safety protocols by enforcing proper use of equipment and protective gear at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor services
- Supervising or team-leading experience in a similar environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, horticulture principles, and garden management
- Familiarity with construction activities related to outdoor projects such as planting beds or irrigation systems
- Experience operating landscaping machinery and tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of tree care practices and irrigation systems is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward shared goals
