What You’ll Do:
Responsibilities
- Operate Citizen Swiss CNC
- Load raw materials, monitor machine performance, and ensure part quality.
- Make machine adjustments and offsets as needed.
- Run and oversee multiple automated machines.
- Use measuring tools for in-process inspections.
- Complete inspection and production paperwork accurately.
- Clean and prepare finished parts and assist with routine machine maintenance.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures in a clean, organized workspace.
- Operate secondary/auxiliary equipment as needed.
- Maintain exceptional quality, productivity, and attention to detail.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Additional Experienced Setup Machinist Responsibilities
- Load programs, install tooling, and set up Citizen Swiss CNC machines.
- Prove out new programs and ensure jobs remain on schedule.
- Perform first-article inspections and complete required documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize cutting conditions.
- After job documentation.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Entry-Level Candidates
- Experience operating CNC machines preferred; Swiss experience a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills are required.
- Solid computer skills and ability to oversee multiple machines.
- Detail-oriented and follow instructions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Experienced Setup Machinists
- Swiss CNC setup experience required.
- Proficient with G-Code, tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining principles.
- Troubleshooting
- Strong blueprint reading and math skills.
- Solid computer skills and ability to oversee multiple machines.
- Able to work independently, stay detail-oriented, and follow instructions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
