Family Law Paralegal

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Norfolk, VA area for an individual with 3 years’ experience as a Family Law Paralegal with a background in divorce, custody and other family matters. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Short/Long Term Disability, Life insurance, PTO and other outstanding perks.

 All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

• Experience in Divorce, Custody or Family Matters is REQUIRED
• Drafting legal documents such as motions, orders, continuance letters, witness subpoenas, subpoenas duces tecum and discovery requests is REQUIRED
• Preparing case summaries and organizing evidence is REQUIRED
• Conducting legal research and preparing reports is REQUIRED
• Assisting in client consultations and managing client communications is REQUIRED
• Filing documents with courts and maintaining case records is REQUIRED
• Scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines is REQUIRED
