Pay Rate: $2,385 Weekly | $57/hour (blended pay)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (10:00 - 20:30)
Day 4x10-Hour (10:30 - 21:00)
Description
Demonstrates in depth knowledge of nursing process in addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs of patients.
Provides competent care to patients with a variety of diagnosis including: diseases of the cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, neurological, renal and endocrine systems, sepsis, carcinoma and pre- and post- operative surgical patients and pediatric patients.
Must be able to recognize life threatening conditions and intervene appropriately; patients at risk for injury and skin break down, and provide patient education and discharge instructions to patients utilizing the electronic health record (EHR).
Responsible for developing, implementing and coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of patient/family care, and either managing that care totally, or through delegation and direction of other members of the nursing care team.
Requirement
Requires 2 years recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity to facility.
CA RN License
BLS - AHA
ACLS - AHA
PALS - AHA
Mandatory Skill
EPIC charting experience required.
