Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN to provide quality care to adult patients in a dynamic, fast-paced acute care setting. Ideal candidates are adaptable, skilled in telemetry monitoring, and confident in prioritizing patient care.

Unit Overview

• Unit Size: 36 beds
• Staffing Details:
• Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 Techs, 1 Secretary
• Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 Techs
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
• EMR System: Meditech
• Equipment Used: EKG Machine, DynaMaps, Bladder Scanner, Vein Finder, Telemetry
  

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Active RN license
• BLS certification
  
  

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Effective critical thinking in complex patient situations
  
  

Typical Procedures

• Post-Heart Catheterization care
• General telemetry monitoring
• Basic med-surg interventions

• Floating Required: Yes to all Med Surg/Tele floors
