Pay Range: $38.57/Hour on W2

Job Description:

• The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on client’s campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of client’s industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers. Working closely with R&D on microwave applications, you will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release and support production.

Skills:
The client is looking for a highly motivated individual with desire to learn advanced machining skills. This position will require a Career level Machinist with a knack for precision and detail. Must have the willingness to learn, strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication and job flexibility are a must. In addition, you will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.

Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:

• 3 to 5 axis milling
• Swiss Style Lathes
• Mill/Turn Machine Center
• Advanced Metrology
• CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
• CAD/Solid Modeling
• Tool Grinding
• Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
