Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an idea-first brand marketer who believes the strongest marketing starts with a compelling consumer insight and ends with unforgettable creative. You’re equal parts strategist and storyteller—someone who knows how to identify cultural and consumer tensions, craft inspiring briefs, and shepherd breakthrough ideas from concept through execution. You have exceptional creative judgment, sweat the details, and know the difference between work that’s good and work that moves people.

You thrive at the intersection of brand, sport, and culture. You’ve worked both in-house and at a creative agency (or have deep experience partnering with agencies) and understand how world-class creative gets made. You’re a trusted thought partner to creatives, comfortable giving feedback, protecting the integrity of an idea, and collaborating across disciplines to bring ambitious work to life.

You are low ego and highly collaborative. You know great work is a team sport and are motivated as much by helping others succeed as you are by personal accomplishment. You build trust quickly, bring people with you, and make every team you're on better.

You’re energized by complexity and move with speed. You can confidently balance multiple high-profile initiatives across overlapping timelines without sacrificing quality. You know how to navigate a global matrix organization, influence without authority, and build strong relationships across cross-functional teams. You bring clarity to ambiguity, stay calm under pressure, and consistently raise the bar for both the work and the team around you.

Most importantly, you’re passionate about athletes, running, and the role brands play in shaping culture. You’re endlessly curious about consumers, obsessed with great storytelling, and motivated by creating work that inspires people to move.

What You’ll Do:

As a Global Brand Manager on Running, you’ll lead the development of integrated brand strategies and marketing campaigns that inspire athletes around the world. Working across product launches, seasonal storytelling, and cultural moments, you’ll help define how Running shows up across every consumer touchpoint.

A Day In The Life:

  • Develop insight-driven brand strategies rooted in deep consumer understanding, cultural trends, and business priorities.
  • Write inspiring creative briefs that unlock breakthrough ideas and set a high creative standard from the start.
  • Lead integrated marketing plans from strategy through execution across digital, social, retail, communications, sports marketing, partnerships, and experiential.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Product, Marketplace, Consumer Insights, Digital, Retail Marketing, Sports Marketing, Communications, and Geography teams to bring campaigns to life globally.
  • Champion creative excellence throughout the process by providing thoughtful feedback and protecting the integrity of the brand vision.
  • Manage multiple concurrent campaigns while driving alignment across stakeholders and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear consumer narratives that create demand and strengthen brand affinity.
  • Help identify new opportunities where can authentically intersect with sport, culture, and community.
  • Present work confidently to senior leadership and influence decisions through clear storytelling and strategic thinking.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7 years of progressive experience in consumer marketing, brand strategy, integrated marketing, or product marketing within a leading consumer brand and/or creative agency.
  • Proven ability to orchestrate complex, cross-functional marketing plans—connecting consumer insight, strategy, creative development, production, and execution across owned, earned, and paid ecosystems.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies from consumer insight through creative execution.
  • A track record of making teams stronger through collaboration, leadership, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to uncover meaningful consumer tensions and translate them into compelling brand ideas.
  • Exceptional creative taste and a demonstrated ability to partner effectively with creative teams to produce world-class work.
  • Expertise writing clear, inspiring creative briefs that unlock impactful ideas.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across creative, digital, social, retail, communications, sports marketing, and product.
  • Strong understanding of production processes across multiple marketing channels and the ability to guide work from concept through launch.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within large, global matrix organizations and influencing stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation design, and storytelling skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Passion for athletes, running, sport, and culture, with a deep curiosity for consumer behavior and emerging trends.
