What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector position at ETC?
Join the Quality team at ETC in Mazomanie as our new Inspector! Some of the duties you'll be responsible for is inspecting incoming and outgoing materials and products, maintaining documentation, and participating in ISO audits.

Representative Responsibilities:
Performs inspections to quality standards and product specifications
Performs inspection on incoming parts, sub-assemblies, and final products
Initiates RMAs and SCARs when appropriate
Communicates with ETC vendors to resolve non-conformances
Builds and improves relationships with ETC vendors
Documents inspection results
Maintains and updates inspection lists as needed
Assists with cross-functional efforts to address issues found during inspection process
Identifies and acts on non-conformances
Completes Quality at the Source and NCMR processes appropriately
Initiates Level 1 & 2 MRB activity and takes appropriate action
Coordinates MRB and dispositions material in a timely fashion
Communicates pertinent incoming inspection issues with the appropriate Inspector
Initiates Engineering Changes Requests and Deviations when appropriate
Investigates and communicates custom issues
Investigates and processes quality notifications
Participates in Pilot Runs & Reviews
Reviews BOMs, drawings, and work orders for accuracy
Notes issues found during the pilot run
Adheres to safety standards at all times
Follows safety protocol
Abides by safety procedures, work practice control, and OSHA guidelines
Wears personal protective equipment when required
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Ensures after task is completed, floor is swept, and tools are returned to designated area
Organizes work area so that another person can locate tools and information easily
Maintains tools regularly
Other duties as assigned
Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
Prior production experience and/or quality inspection experience
Good manual dexterity
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to sit or stand for extended periods
Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to use basic inspection tools and small power tools
Able to interpret and follow basic assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, SharePoint, etc.)
