Jersey and Pennsylvania.
As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to
provide on-site leadership for ground-up development projects.
The Opportunity
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for supervising all site construction
activities on mid-rise and podium-style developments, from site preparation thru final
completion. This individual will ensure quality, safety, and compliance while coordinating
subcontractors, trades, and inspectors.
As the on-site leader, the Superintendent will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for
construction crews and municipal officials. The Superintendent will report directly to the
Director of Construction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Supervision
o Oversee ground-up construction of mid-rise and podium-style developments.
o Manage daily site activities to ensure adherence to safety, project schedules,
budgets, quality standards and specifications.
o Provide consistent on-site leadership, addressing issues quickly to minimize
delays.
Team Leadership
o Mentor and oversee junior superintendent(s), ensuring they develop strong field
management skills.
o Promote a culture of safety, quality, productivity and accountability across all
crews.
Subcontractor and Vendor Coordination
o Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and inspections.
o Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with plans, specifications,
and codes.
Compliance and Inspections
o Serve as the on-site point of contact for municipal inspectors and officials.
o Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning requirements, and safety
regulations.
o Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, progress, and changes.
Collaboration and Reporting
o Maintain updated Tracking and Reports on project documentation, timelines, and
deliverables.
o Provide regular updates and reporting on project status, risks, and milestones
Candidate Profile
8-10 years of construction management or superintendent experience, preferably with
mid-rise or podium-style developments.
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and safety
protocols.
Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage complex construction schedules.
Strong communication and leadership skills; able to work effectively with trades,
inspectors, and ownership.
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel,
Word).
OSHA 30 Hour Certification required.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience.
