Position Overview
ETC Construction is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage HVAC scopes on commercial and residential construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, managing project timelines, handling purchasing, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
This is a hands-on management position requiring strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and supervise field crews and subcontractors
- Daily reporting on project progress, issues, and updates
- Material purchasing, ordering, and tracking
- Assist with estimating and project budgeting
- Review and approve payroll/time for field employees
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Ensure quality control and job site safety
- Handle day-to-day operations of HVAC field teams
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and clients
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in HVAC project management or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing
- Leadership experience managing field crews
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with basic computer software (Excel, project management tools)
