- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly to meet health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning food items
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly
- Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely readiness of food items
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending
