Position Overview
At Etactics, the Scrum Master plays a critical role in driving Agile excellence across development teams. This individual serves as a servant leader and facilitator, ensuring teams effectively apply Scrum principles to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach team members on Agile best practices and continuous improvement
- Remove impediments and proactively resolve blockers to keep projects on track
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure well-defined, prioritized backlogs
- Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.)
- Foster a collaborative, transparent, and accountable team environment
- Support cross-team coordination and dependency management
- Promote a culture of continuous delivery and iterative improvement
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile role
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent certification
- Experience in healthcare, data processing, or SaaS environments (relevant to Etactics’ domain)
- Background in software development or technical teams
- Experience scaling Agile across multiple teams
