We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tow Truck / Rollback Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks and flatbed rollback vehicles to assist with vehicle recoveries, roadside assistance, and transportation. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and customer service will ensure efficient and professional service delivery. Duties
- Operate tow trucks and flatbed rollback vehicles to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles safely and efficiently
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery method
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and team members during all phases of recovery
- Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle conditions for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others
- Assist with automotive repairs or mechanical troubleshooting as needed based on mechanic experience
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and diagnostics
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and commercial driving equipment
- Hands-on experience with tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other recovery tools
- Excellent driving skills with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met
- Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly
- Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to assist clients effectively
