Duties
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise carpentry work.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Perform residential carpentry tasks including door hanging, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, siding, and flooring installation.
- Handle heavy lifting and operate woodworking machines safely to shape wood construction materials.
- Install fixtures such as moldings, caulking, stucco, rebar, and water damage restoration components with attention to detail.
- Conduct concrete forming, plastering, metal stud framing, and rebar installation for structural projects.
- Support remodeling efforts by performing demolition, restoration work, water damage remediation, and siding repairs with precision.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or related fields.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and construction plans accurately to guide project execution.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with the use of technical drawings for interpreting specifications across various carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry and fixture installation.
- Experience working on construction sites with safety awareness around power tool safety protocols.
- Background in restoration industry projects including mold remediation, water damage restoration, siding replacement, and heavy lifting tasks.

Pay: From $26.72 per hour
