Activity Instructor for American Sign Language.
Responsible for planning and leading structured activities for students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·Previous experience teaching American Sign Language.
· Successfully lead activities for students of all abilities.
· Must be able to work in a private or group setting.
· Effectively manage the activities and address student behavior issues in a positive, professional manner;
· Communicate clearly and positively with students, co-workers, and supervisors;
· Maintenance of the classroom; and
· MUST be available, on-time, and prepared to work during assigned hours (Exact hours vary depending upon clients).
·Must have reliable transportation.
Qualifications and Skills:
· At least 1 year of prior experience teaching or facilitating group activities with students;
· High school diploma required;
· Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
Pay Rate:
· Begins at $18 - $24 per hour, commensurate with experience.
