TEACHER OF THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING
A vacancy exists for at least one (1) teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing with the possibility of up to two (2) depending upon student enrollment/needs to provide related physical therapy to pre-school and school-age students based on critical skill areas on students’ IEPs for the Special Education Extended School Year Program at the Academic Learning Center and Orchard View Intermediate School. Qualifications include West Virginia certification in deaf and hard of hearing, K-12.

Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and years of experience.
Specialized Skills
Must hold or can obtain WV teacher certification in Deaf & Hard of Hearing or Hearing impaired for all grade levels.
