Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Support banquet and catering setups by preparing necessary items and ensuring timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces through regular cleaning routines
- Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during service to ensure a clean dining environment
- Follow food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks as needed under supervision
- Support overall restaurant operations by providing excellent hospitality and service assistance
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with banquet service or large-scale catering is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling regulations is beneficial
- Prior roles involving serving or hospitality duties will be considered an asset
