Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service Representative role based in Miami, FL. The Customer Service Representative will assist new and existing clients with insurance inquiries, policy information, coverage options, and billing questions, ensuring a positive and efficient experience at every interaction. Daily responsibilities include answering phone calls and in-person inquiries, providing quotes, processing policy changes, updating customer information in internal systems, and helping clients understand policy terms and requirements. The role also involves proactively following up with customers to resolve issues, supporting sales and retention efforts, and collaborating with team members to meet service and performance goals. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional, welcoming presence in the office and represent Estrella Insurance’s commitment to affordability and quality service.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service, Customer Support, and Customer Satisfaction, with an ability to handle inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Experience improving the Customer Experience, preferably in a call center, retail, or insurance environment, with a commitment to responsiveness and clear communication.
- Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative in insurance or financial services is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish/English) are a strong plus in the Miami market.
- Comfort using computers, CRM or agency management systems, and learning carrier portals for quotes and policy servicing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework, insurance licenses, or certifications are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Miami, FL, with a reliable and punctual attendance record.
