Head Varsity Baseball Coach

Estherville Lincoln Central School District is seeking a Head Varsity Baseball Coach to lead and build a successful high school baseball program. The coach will serve as a positive role model, demonstrate ethical and moral leadership, and foster strong relationships with student-athletes while emphasizing personal growth, teamwork, and competitive excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the ELC baseball program, including both the High School and the Middle School Programs
• Develop and implement a long-term program vision aligned with district values
• Build positive relationships with student-athletes and promote character development
• Ability to encourage student-athletes to participate in multiple sports and the strength and conditioning program
• Demonstrate ethical and moral decision-making and sportsmanship
• Collaborate with staff, athletes, families, and administration
• Ability to work with other coaches to collaborate and share athletes
• Ability to be actively involved in the strength and conditioning program at ELC

Qualifications:

• Successful experience as a head varsity baseball coach preferred
• Previous high school baseball coaching experience required
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience building or ability to build an athletics program (youth through varsity) required
• Previous effective work with high school- and middle school-aged athletes as well as teachers, administration, staff, parents, and community members

Terms:
Compensation based on Schedule B of the negotiated agreement.

Must hold or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching License or Endorsement.
