We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom cabinets, built-in units, and related fixtures across commercial projects. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install cabinets and fixtures according to project specifications
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of cabinetry
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Install various building materials including trim, molding as needed for seamless cabinet integration
- Follow construction plans and schematics to execute projects with attention to detail and quality standards
- Perform site inspections to verify measurements, assess structural conditions, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, electricians, plumbers, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- Ability to work in shop on specialty projects a would be nice.
- Proven experience in cabinet installation or related construction fields such as carpentry, remodeling.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., tape measures, levels), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and heavy equipment when necessary
- Knowledge of construction management practices including estimating costs and managing timelines
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials safely using ladders or scaffolding; comfortable working at heights on ladders or scaffolds
