Job Overview
We are looking for someone with great job stability as a warehouse supervisor. Inventory and professionalism is another key to this position. Please apply for this job if you can work the hours of 7 AM to 4 PM with some weekends and there might also be at a 10 AM to 6 PM in there as well, so you must be a little flexible.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Retail experienced Manager to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and implementing best practices in materials management. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of demand planning, shipping and receiving, and data visualization systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize inventory flow and reduce costs.
- Utilize data visualization tools to analyze inventory trends and forecast demand.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for effective materials handling and distribution.
- Implement best practices in materials management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts and improve service levels.
- Please note this is a very small detailed clean warehouse and we need a candidate that can supervise our small number of employees with balancing inventory and working with our vendors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred.
- Experience with demand planning and stock management systems is essential.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools for effective reporting and analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
