- Supplier partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure dependable delivery.
- Market intelligence: Track industry pricing and evaluate supplier scorecards to inform buy strategies.
- Commercials: Lead vendor negotiations on pricing and contract terms to optimize total cost.
- Supply assurance: Monitor inventory and forecast needs to avoid shortages.
- Alignment: Work cross-functionally to connect purchasing plans with company objectives.
- Governance: Keep precise records for purchases, pricing, and inventory activity.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities that streamline the supply chain.
- Policy support: Assist in drafting and updating procurement policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
- Negotiation strength and supplier relationship-building capability.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office and common supply chain software platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to excel independently and as part of a team in a high-velocity environment.
