Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware quickly and efficiently to keep the bar fully prepared for service
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste in accordance with health standards
- Support food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or preparing simple bar snacks when needed
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar area to ensure a tidy environment for guests
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cash handling and order processing when required
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations across all duties, including proper sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality settings is preferred; experience in nightclubs, banquet events, catering, or hotel environments is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills are advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting supplies or bussing tables
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience working in fast-paced environments like bars, restaurants, or nightclubs is highly desirable
- A background in food preparation, catering, serving, or barista work will be considered an asset
