Purpose The Maître’d will oversee the front door team of the restaurant while upholding the restaurant’s quality of service. This person will work with the reservationists, hosts, and managers to ensure that guests are serviced properly to have a pleasurable dining experience. Key Focus

Personnel Management
- Trains and guides the host team on front desk responsibilities and standards.
- Work with the reservation team to ensure reservations are booked efficiently to maintain smooth operations.
- Educates the restaurant staff on reservation and guest notes before each service.
- Ensures consistent execution of company policies and procedures including recently created and evolving COVID guidelines.
Guest Service
- Ensures all guests consistently receive courteous and efficient service.
- Responds positively and promptly to customer concerns and complaints.
- Maintains guest satisfaction by monitoring the restaurant’s seating layout before and during service.
- Maintains a welcoming and orderly restaurant environment.
- Builds relationships with repeat guests.
- Acts as the liaison between the front door service and restaurant dining operations.
Service Standards
- Act as part of the team to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service.
- Follow all company policies and procedures including recently created and evolving COVID guidelines.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) standards.

Physical Demands
The physical demands for this position frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
