Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our practice. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Optimizing patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments strategically.
- Confirming patients’ electronic medical records portal has been completed and secured by our office prior to appointments.
- Maintaining patient accounts by updating personal and financial information and scanning all documents into our electronic medical record system.
- Collecting patient payments for consultations and office visits/procedures.
- Coordinates back office flow and processes to assure efficiency and accuracy. Facilitates smooth patient flow to decrease patient wait time and increase office efficiency.
- Assists providers with injectable treatments & office procedures.
- Prepares patients and assists providers with examination and procedures, anticipating and providing necessary equipment and supplies.
- Assures that rooms and equipment are clean and stocked appropriately and supply inventories are maintained.
- Protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information, following HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documenting patient information, medical history, etc.
- Provide patient education on various treatments and pre and post treatment instructions.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing medical supplies inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Room for growth to become a provider for appropriate treatments
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or relevant healthcare position
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Coolsculpting provider experience
The desired candidate will possess these qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have at least one year of medical assistant and sales experience (preferably in healthcare or salon/spa environment). This individual must be bright, warm, compassionate, engaging, self-motivated, creative, honest, speak factually, with a passion for patient education.

- Time management skills, attention to detail, professionalism, ability to multi-task, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (medical software is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science or field is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
