What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler - Keystone position at Estee Lauder?
**Looking for multiple hires.
Performs a variety of tasks to produce a product that meets quality and operational standards. Assembles and packages finished goods.
Accountabilities:
(tasks may vary depending on location)
- Understands and practices functions as instructed by supervisor and/or Quality Coordinator.
- Observes products on the production line during the assembly operations.
- Detects visual imperfections, improper fill levels, incorrect components and incorrect labeling to prevent a sub-standard product from being produced.
- Observes, reaches and manipulates products and components on an assembly line/work-station that may be up to 3ft high.
- Stands, sits or any combination thereof for a total of 8 hours during a shift.
- Inserts, feeds, folds, drops, stacks, packs components and finished goods on an assembly line and in packages, meeting quality and quantity standards.
- Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).
- Performs various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training of new employees.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
- Good communication skills and demonstrated knowledge of English, reading and writing.
- Basic knowledge of arithmetic.
- Must be available to work all shifts and overtime as necessary.
- Must be available to work in all Northtec facilities as needed.
