Maintenance Technician – High-End Residential Community | Columbia, SC

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team, supporting luxury residential communities in the Columbia area. Position Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of our apartment homes and property facilities. You will play a key role in maintaining the overall resident experience through timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including general repairs and inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with:
- HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning)
- Electrical systems, appliances, outlets, and fixtures
- Plumbing systems and fixtures
- Carpentry and lock repairs
- Complete and document work orders with professionalism and accuracy.
- Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule.
- Provide follow-up service to ensure resident satisfaction after repairs.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or similar mechanical repair roles
- HVAC experience required
- EPA Type I and II certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
