We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fulfillment Manager to lead our fulfillment operations and ensure seamless end-to-end order execution. In this role, you will oversee a team responsible for product preparation, inventory management, and order fulfillment, while managing vendor relationships and collaborating with cross-functional departments to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction. As a working manager, you will actively participate in day-to-day fulfillment activities, including picking, packing, and shipping orders alongside your team while providing guidance, training, and support. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and developing scalable processes that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Department Management
- Supervise and lead the fulfillment team, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and adherence to company standards.
- Develop, train, and motivate team members to improve performance and operational efficiency.
- Establish clear departmental goals, KPIs, and process improvements in coordination with company leadership.
- Partner with other departments (Sales, Operations, Customer Support, Marketing) to align fulfillment priorities with business objectives.
- Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring stock accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Manage receiving, storage, and distribution of products to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Coordinate and implement inventory management systems and tools to track usage, replenishment, and demand forecasting.
- Ensure the work environment remains safe, organized, and compliant with company and safety standards.
- Manage relationships with key vendors and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and timely service.
- Evaluate and negotiate with shipping carriers and supply vendors for quality and pricing optimization.
- Monitor shipping performance, address escalations, and proactively resolve fulfillment or delivery issues.
- Oversee procurement of packaging materials and fulfillment supplies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability of fulfillment operations.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, resource planning, and operational strategy.
- Maintain and report key performance metrics, including order accuracy, turnaround times, and fulfillment costs.
- Orders are consistently fulfilled on time and with exceptional accuracy.
- The fulfillment team operates efficiently, motivated by clear direction, strong communication, and mutual accountability.
- Inventory levels are accurate and well-maintained, with proactive management to prevent stockouts or overages.
- Vendor and carrier relationships are optimized to ensure cost-effective and reliable service.
- Cross-department collaboration leads to smoother workflows, faster problem resolution, and improved customer satisfaction.
- The fulfillment operation scales effectively as the business grows, supported by streamlined processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- The manager leads by example and actively supports the team on the floor while driving strategic improvements across operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics experience.
- 1 year of leadership and people management experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating service agreements.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with inventory management and order processing systems.
- Clear communicator with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.
- Detail-oriented and reliable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform warehouse duties as needed (standing, bending, moving inventory, operating equipment).
