Job Description:
This is an entry-level to junior .NET Developer role with the Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR). The position focuses on supporting and enhancing the GenTax® tax administration system, a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application used to manage state tax operations.
Responsabilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug software applications.
- Develop and maintain features within the GenTax® application.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries.
- Analyze system issues and provide solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical development tasks.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with a small development team under supervision.
- Support ongoing application configurations and enhancements.
