Support Core HR Operations
Provide excellent customer service to EST employees by responding to questions and requests.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information, records, and HR‑related situations.
Assist with onboarding, offboarding, benefits support, leave tracking, employee engagement, and performance management tasks.
Help maintain accurate digital employee records across HR systems and platforms.
Support compliance tasks and monitoring as directed.
Assist with special projects assigned by the HR Supervisor.
Support the implementation of the company’s new HRIS platform, including data verification.
Help meet annual HR calendar deadlines for internal and external requirements.
Assist with writing, tracking, and distributing the company newsletter.
Recommend process improvement ideas to enhance HR efficiency and service.
Assist with planning and coordinating company events such as the annual company event, team lunches, and other activities.
Support EST’s uniform store operations, including order processing and recordkeeping.
Provide backup support to the HR team as needed.
Minimal travel required (less than 5%).
Current college student majoring in Human Resources or a related field; entering Junior or Senior year with completed HR coursework.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Participation in HR‑related academic organizations is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to learn and use new software applications and HR technologies.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and integrity.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with patience, courtesy, and a team‑oriented mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and dependable.
Knowledge of industrial or mechanical products is a plus.
Proficient in English; valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Ability to perform work requiring continuous mental focus and problem‑solving.
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
Ability to maneuver around moving objects, vehicles, or machinery.
Occasional exposure to hazardous materials or equipment.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
May require travel by commercial aircraft.
