As a Field Tradesperson, you’ll perform hands‑on work across multiple trades — mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general construction — while representing EST at customer sites.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with their hands, traveling frequently, and being part of a project team that delivers high‑impact equipment installations. If you’re dependable, skilled, and thrive in fast‑moving environments, we’d love to meet you.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Equipment Installation — Install industrial equipment and project components at customer sites across the U.S.

  • Multi‑Trade Work — Perform tasks across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, concrete, and general construction.

  • Site & Material Preparation — Prepare tools, parts, and materials before travel; support site prep and material handling.

  • Assembly & Fabrication — Assemble, modify, and fabricate components as needed for project completion.

  • Troubleshooting — Diagnose and resolve issues using schematics, manuals, test instruments, and remote guidance.

  • Start‑Up & Commissioning — Support equipment start‑up, testing, and customer training.

  • Project Team Collaboration — Work closely with EST supervisors, technicians, customers, and subcontractors.

  • Reporting & Documentation — Submit accurate expense reports, project updates, and inventory logs.

  • Vehicle & Job Site Care — Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles.

  • Safety & Compliance — Follow all EST safety procedures and operational standards.

  • 100% travel required, often with short‑notice assignments.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision.

  • Mentor and train EST personnel as assigned.

  • Train customer employees on equipment when required.

  • Operate forklifts, manlifts, excavators, concrete saws, demolition tools, and other construction equipment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma required; associate/bachelor’s degree or trade certifications preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant trade or technical field.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and electronic systems.

  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

  • Proficiency with standard hand tools and test instruments.

  • Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.

  • Dependable, organized, self‑motivated, and able to work under pressure.

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to travel extensively (100%) and work extended hours.

  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain military base access and other required credentials.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally; ability to work in demanding physical environments.
