About The Role
Essity is looking for an experienced Boiler Operator to oversee the Powerplant operations in a safe and efficient manner including: water filtration systems and a natural gas boiler, while supporting our high standards of safety, housekeeping, quality, and productivity.
The ideal candidate should/could live in Middletown, OH.

About The Role
Essity is looking for an experienced Boiler Operator to oversee the Powerplant operations in a safe and efficient manner including: water filtration systems and a natural gas boiler, while supporting our high standards of safety, housekeeping, quality, and productivity.

What You Will Do
- Maintains, records and e-mails daily reports for power plant safety, environmental and boiler production
- Maintains and publishes data entry reports on Capstone
- Operates and makes rounds to check air compressors, all PP, PRV, Vent Valves and mill main feeder breakers
- Monitors capstone trending of Boiler
- Monitors and maintains RO system or softeners as needed
- Regenerates all Zeolite filters as needed
- Completes daily water, condensate and effluent testing and reports results
- Completes environmental testing and recording for daily/ monthly NPDES requirements as needed
- Makes appropriate chemical additions to boiler make-up water as needed
- Monitors deep wells, completes rounds and collects and records data as needed
- Operate mobile equipment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have active Ohio Boiler Operator’s License
- Experience working in an industrial environment preferred
- Experience working with a gas boiler
- Desire to work in a team based environment
- Ability to safely perform tasks in a fast paced, heavy industrial environment
- Ability to stand, reach, and twist in a heavy industrial environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. climb ladders, walk distances, work at heights on platforms, work in tight or closed spaces
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
