About The Role
Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Logistics Manager at our manufacturing facility in Middletown, OH.
The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating overall shipping and receiving activities for the Middletown location. This position also performs inventory management for incoming products, outgoing products, and raw materials.

About The Role
Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Logistics Manager at our manufacturing facility in Middletown, OH.
The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating overall shipping and receiving activities for the Middletown location. This position also performs inventory management for incoming products, outgoing products, and raw materials.
What You Will Do
- Manages raw material and critical supply inventories, including maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization and racking, inventory cycle counting and reporting, monthly inventory accounting.
- Responsible for all internal and external transportation for the region, including trailer spotting and trailer yard operations. Coordinates the activities of outside spotting service personnel;
- Supports the development of the Logistics department staff and workforce, and acts as a catalyst for communication between operating departments;
- Supports the sourcing of fiber
- Responsible for all MES activity and fiber movement throughout operations
- Responsible for all inbound, outbound, and scale house operations
- Responsible for managing all outbound shipments, including preparation of sequentially numbered paper work in software accounting system, management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and assists with coordination of transportation services
- Participate and assist with all safety policies, programs, and procedures
- Leading and managing team members working within the scope of Logistics. (Material X, Chemical Prep, Receiving)
- Ensures incoming raw materials and chemicals are properly identified and labeled.
- Perform daily reconciliation of all under/over transactions for material deliveries
- Perform periodic inventory of items involved in daily processes
- Please requisition and /or communicate with suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels to support warehouse operations
- Track trailer equipment supply and quality concerns by carrier and communicate concerns to correct entity
- Be a liaison with planning/customer service/ corporate transportation on load and driver concerns and issues
- Support warehouse functions for business needs
- Coordinate cycle counts for finished goods, parent rolls, inventory
- Coordinates shuttle activity and supports warehouse functions
- Ensures daily receiving entries are entered in computer system.
- Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of each department and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments and outside service providers.
- Lead and assist the scale house team members
- BS or BA, preferably with emphasis in Logistics Management or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Strong background in supply chain
- Computer skills are essential
- 3 years in a warehouse manufacturing environment
- Proficient with a warehouse management software and support programs
- Proficient with Microsoft products
- Commitment to safe work practices and principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, and walk throughout mill
- Shown leadership abilities
