Position Summary

As a Residential House Cleaner / Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining residential properties according to Essic Cleaning Company' quality standards.

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, trustworthy, physically capable of performing cleaning duties, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean residential homes according to company cleaning checklists and standards
• Dust furniture, surfaces, baseboards, doors, and fixtures
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, stairs, and upholstery as needed
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize kitchens
• Clean countertops, sinks, appliances, cabinets, and other kitchen surfaces
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Clean bedrooms, living areas, and common areas
• Make beds and change linens when requested
• Perform deep-cleaning services
• Perform move-in and move-out cleaning
• Clean Airbnb and short-term rental properties when assigned
• Follow customer-specific cleaning instructions
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition
• Report damage, maintenance issues, or unusual conditions to management
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Complete assigned jobs within the scheduled timeframe
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing Essic Clean Solutions

Qualifications

• Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to follow instructions and company cleaning procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Comfortable working in different residential environments
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods
• Ability to lift approximately 25–30 pounds
• Must be comfortable working around household pets
• Must be willing to complete a background check
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of professional residential cleaning experience
• Experience with deep cleaning
• Experience with move-in/move-out cleaning
• Airbnb cleaning experience
• Knowledge of professional cleaning products and equipment
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
