This position serves students within Essexville-Hampton Public Schools; however, the selected candidate will be contracted through WillSub/PCMI. Essexville-Hampton Public Schools is not the employer of record for this position and does not administer compensation, benefits, payroll, or personnel matters related to the position.
Qualifications
- Have a genuine love for working with children and maintain an upbeat, positive attitude.
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships and work cohesively with children, families, and coworkers.
- Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible.
- Have experience with the fundamentals of child care and a willingness to continue learning and growing professionally.
- Be willing to follow all Michigan child care licensing rules and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with lead teachers and other staff members to complete daily activities and achieve program goals.
- Successfully complete a comprehensive background check.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Complete a TB test prior to employment.
- CPR and First Aid certification is recommended but not required.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
