Manufacturing Engineer
- Investigate, understand, and develop practical process improvements and modifications for production of magnet wire products.
- Apply sound engineering principles and methods to improve quality, efficiency and cost.
- Maintain detailed records of process improvements and equipment changes.
- Work with the Quality Lab and Production Team to diagnose and improve product quality issues.
- Provide hands-on technical support for existing processes to improve safety, product quality, process efficiency, and material usages and scrap.
- Evaluate prototype equipment, document performance, and recommend modifications.
- Develop build strategies and process controls for new product trials and production launches.
- Design and source production tooling for sample runs and new product launches.
- Assist with project management, planning, and documentation for new product trials and launches, and engineering projects.
- Communicate project milestones and critical paths regularly to ensure functional and timely results.
- Maintain a positive and productive relationship with team members and other departments.
- Use of hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of computer usage and most Microsoft applications.
- Observe all safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
