Company Information
Essex Concrete Corporation is a family-owned Ready Mix Concrete Manufacturer that has been in business since 1965 and as of today we own and operate Seven Concrete Plants and One Sand & Gravel location.
Duties Include but are not limited to
o Performs tech support using direct contact to end-users
o Maintains records of daily data communication, problems and remedial actions taken
o Performs root cause analysis for technical issues and recommends solutions
o Develops and maintains documentation of processes, procedures and passwords required for the operations of the business
o Monitors hardware and software systems for firmware updates and patches. Applies firmware updates and software patches to ensure a maximal up time in the computing environment
o Manages the daily performance of all technology related devices to include but are not limited to; computer systems, printers, faxes, phone lines, tablets, cell phones and postage machines
o Installs, performs and keeps track of major repairs and upgrades to hardware and software
o Sets up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables and operating systems
o Assists with orientation of new employees regarding the computer software used by the company
o Responds to user inquiries regarding computer issues to resolve problems
o Manages daily backups and recovers users’ systems from backup
o Contacts and interacts with vendors to acquire and implement software upgrades and equipment maintenance
o Coordinates repairs and troubleshoots telephones, internet, security gate and camera systems
o Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
o High School Diploma
o Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
o A Valid Driver’s License
o A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a computer or technology related position
o Command Series, Command Batch, Digital Fleet, On-base, Time Clock Plus, Paylocity, QBO
o Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Power Point
o Window Operating Systems – 7, 10 and XP
o Allworx Phone Systems
o Mobile Operating Systems - Android & iPhones
o Windows Terminal Services & Citrix XenApp
o Windows Server 2008 & 2012
o Manages user accounts (>50 usernames and password)
o Ability to work nights and weekend during emergency situations
