Position Summary: We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support our team on active transactions across multifamily, mixed-use, retail, and other commercial asset classes. You will work closely with senior team members on deal analysis, packaging, lender outreach, and closing in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once are critical. This is an in-person role in our Chicago office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financing packages, lender books, offering memoranda, and deal summaries.
• Support underwriting, financial analysis, modeling, and market research.
• Assist in structuring capital stacks and evaluating financing strategies to meet client objectives.
• Analyze lender quotes and create comparison matrices to track pricing and terms across capital sources.
• Coordinate with lenders throughout underwriting, diligence, and closing to assure timing and accuracy.
• Update and maintain internal databases of lenders, property owners, comparable assets, and key deal metrics.
• Manage multiple active files while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong financial modeling abilities and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and stay organized in a deadline-driven environment.
• Process-driven mindset with interest in building and improving systems, workflows, and automation.
• Comfortable working with data tools and technology, including AI-enabled workflow automation.
• One to three years of experience in real estate, finance, banking, or a related field preferred.
• An undergraduate degree in finance or a related business major is preferred.
