What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trimmer position at Essentials Cannabis?
Trimmer — Essentials Cannabis (Aurora,Oregon)
Essentials Cannabis is more than just a brand—it’s a movement. Rooted in Oregon and operating out of an indoor LED cultivation facility, we grow and craft premium cannabis products with an obsessive focus on quality.
Our flower is the foundation of everything we do, and our trimming team plays a critical role in making sure every batch meets the Essentials standard.
We’re looking for experienced, reliable cannabis trimmers who take pride in their work, understand the importance of consistency, and want to be part of a growing Oregon cannabis company.
Role Overview
As a Trimmer at Essentials Cannabis, you will be responsible for carefully preparing harvested cannabis flower for packaging and sale. You’ll work as part of our production team to ensure flower is clean, properly manicured, and presented to the high standard our customers expect.
This is a production-focused position where speed matters—but quality comes first.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Essentials operates on a perpetual harvest schedule, so trimming work is generally scheduled in dedicated trimming weeks approximately every other week.
Because harvest timing can vary, some trimming weeks may carry into the following week depending on when the preceding harvest is completed. Applicants should be comfortable with a production schedule that may shift slightly based on harvest volume and timing.
Pay
$85–$100 per finished pound
Pay is based on experience, trimming quality, consistency, and productivity.
High-performing trimmers who consistently produce clean, high-quality work are eligible for the top end of the pay range.
