What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Caretaker position at Essential Therapeutic?
We are a retired, in-residence, senior animal rescue looking for long-term people to care for the animals. You must be able to administer medications to multiple senior animals as well as comprehend and accurately organize daily medications and meal recipes with precise measurements. We need someone quick, observant, dependable, knowledgeable, reliable, and willing to assist in vet visits if needed.
Evenings and weekend help (8-11am morning shifts/6-8pm evenings) for the dog and cats are the immediate needs to fill!
We have one small dog, one cat, and two horses. All are senior animals that receive medications daily to support their health.
The hours vary depending on the season. Pay depends on training and experience. Accuracy, speed, work ethic, and any helpful extra skills contribute to future raises.
