Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is hiring dependable, hard-working Apartment Make Ready Technicians for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities with top apartment management companies. Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Job Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation.
- Ensure all units are cleaned, functioning, and ready for occupancy by new residents.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team and property management to address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must have your own tools.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous multifamily maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Must have valid I.D., reliable transportation, and pass a background check.
