Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm and overtime as needed.pay is based on experience Starting range will be $20-$33 .We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a food manufacturing facility operating in a cold environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and emergency maintenance on food processing machinery, refrigeration units, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production equipment.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and GMP requirements for food safety and workplace safety.Work with production teams to minimize disruptions and optimize equipment performance.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Assist in installing and commissioning new equipment.Work in cold storage and refrigerated environments as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Experience working with refrigeration systems and cold storage equipment is a plus.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.Willingness to work in cold environments and varying shifts as needed.Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.If you are a detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic with experience in food manufacturing and working in cold environments, we encourage you to apply today!
