#101 We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapy team on a PRN basis, providing specialized care and support to children with autism spectrum disorders. This role involves assessing and treating speech, language, and communication, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance each child's abilities.
THIS IS A PRN/PART-TIME POSITION focused initial assessments/re-assessments and SLPA supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct initial and regular follow-up evaluations of children, adhering to a 6-12 month review cycle or as dictated by clinical judgment and insurance requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed treatment plans and care evaluations within specified deadlines to ensure continuous authorization and care delivery.
- Supervision:
- Support 1-3 experienced SLPAs who conduct all on-site therapy
- Provide their minimum required direct and indirect supervision.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Complete accurate documentation of all services provided within 5 days of service delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with the Operations Manager regarding client progress, caseload adjustments, and therapy needs.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current TX licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both children and adults.
