What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Scheduler position at Essential Pest Control?
Essential Pest Control is one of Tucson's fastest growing Pest Control companies. We are now hiring a service scheduler/customer service representative. Experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We are a Quality Pro company and only accept applicants who have a neat appearance, no criminal history, and the ability to pass a drug screen. We offer medical and dental insurance after 90 days and paid vacation and sick time after a year.
We are looking for a candidate to display great customer service skills while assisting clients over the phone. Someone who can take calls throughout the day while displaying a positive and willing to serve attitude towards our customers. We need a scheduler who is a creative thinker that will assist current customers and help bring in new business. Previous scheduling experience is preferred .

Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to our customer by communicating pest conditions, treatment options and product expectations
- Assist customers with service request and rescheduling appointments as needed
- Facilitate the needs of our customers, department, and company
- Schedule and coordinate service technicians’ daily routes, verify routing is efficient
- Able to stay on task and focus on work-based items during work hours
- Outstanding communicator and problem solver
- Able to make cold calls
- Outbound calls to schedule customers appointments
- Oversee routing and scheduling demands
- Up sale additional service as needed
- Printing daily routes and communicate appointment times with technicians
- Optimize routes, to ensure routing is proficient
- Answer Phones
- File
- Help other departments as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trust, credibility and rapport with internal and external customers
- Must have over-the-phone service and scheduling experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent time management skills required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based programs
- Familiar with Tucson and surrounding areas zip codes
- Type 35 wpm
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and facilitation skills
- Submit and pass initial and random drug screenings
- Must have a clean criminal background check
- Flexible schedule and be able to work weekends when needed
