Your Role:
As an Fulltme/ Per diem Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in our practice. Outside of 1:1 treatment, there are opportunities to use your skills and knowledge in group sessions, parent training, blog writing, and interdisciplinary care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create tailored treatment plans for pediatric clients.
- Collaborate with team members and caregivers to design group therapy sessions, fostering social interaction and skill development.
- Lead parent trainings to empower caregivers with practical strategies for supporting their child's progress at home.
- Provide individual occupational therapy services, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and care.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate with outside professionals to ensure personalized care.
- Complete daily documentation.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- State licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in pediatric settings is preferred, but new graduates with level II fieldwork in pediatrics and a passion for working with children are also welcome.
- Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in Ayres Sensory Integration, DIR/Floortime, or NDT a plus.
