IT Solutions Engineer

As an IT Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing IT solutions to address customer’s complex business problems and providing technical expertise within the IT departments. You will be able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development process. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Managed Service Providers (MSP), IT processes and standards, workflows, and integration. Strong communication skills and leadership by influence are powerful skills suited for our team. Job Summary

In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for providing support to our sales team by serving as a technical resource during sales calls both by phone and onsite. Additional responsibilities also include conducting on-site walk throughs for information gathering, designing IT solutions, coordination with the installation teams regarding the designed solution, coordinating with manufacturers regarding software/hardware required for IT solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized solutions designs.
• Work directly with the sales team to best meet customer needs.
• Review existing customer environments and make recommendations for potential opportunities.
• Write statements of work based on designed solution sets.
• Collaborate with project management and installation teams to ensure smooth installations based on designed solutions.
• Work within ticketing system for note taking, collaboration, and scheduling.

Job Requirements

• Ability to commute to work on a daily basis (onsite position M-F, St. Peter’s, MO)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the IT industry
• Preferred experience with MSP industry.
• Expertise in systems, networking, and cloud-based solutions.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
