About Us:
At Essential Home Health Care, we provide exceptional in-home care with a personal touch. We’re looking for a Director of Nursing who’s not only experienced and skilled but also ready to lead with heart and engage with our community.
Position: Director of Nursing
Location: Rolling Meadows, IL (with some travel)
Salary: $95,000 - $100,000 annually
Qualifications:
- Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- At least 5 years of home healthcare experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory role (such as Director or Assistant Director of Nursing).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with OASIS E1 documentation.
- Strong understanding of home healthcare federal and state regulations, including Medicare guidelines.
- Familiarity with Axxess EMR system and WellSky.
- Up-to-date physical exam within the last 12 months before patient contact.
- Current TB test within the last 12 months.
- Valid CPR certification.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Excellent time management skills and strong QA abilities for reviewing notes and documentation.
