Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: Glynco, GA
Essential Healthcare Solutions, LLC is seeking Family Nurse Practitioners to act as Project Managers and Alternate Project Managers responsible for the overall management and coordination of the work required to support the Health Clinic. This position requires adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Management and coordination for all work at the health clinic, including patient flow, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
- Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training healthcare staff. They also conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing mentorship to clinical teams.
- Developing and managing departmental budgets, monitoring expenditures, and overseeing billing and insurance reimbursement processes.
- Ensuring the facility adheres to healthcare laws, safety standards, and accreditation requirements, such as HIPAA.
- Analyzing clinical data and patient outcomes to implement strategies that enhance the quality of care and operational efficiency.
- Managing medical inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring clinical equipment is maintained and functional.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing; graduate from an associate’s, baccalaureate, or graduate nursing program for Registered Nurses located in a State, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. territory accredited by The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Project Manager - Minimum five (5) years of professional supervisory nursing experience successfully managing a Health Unit, an Urgent Care Clinic, a Doctor’s Office, or an Emergency Department, and with a minimum of three (3) consecutive years’ experience. Within the last three (3) years, the Project Manager shall have successfully managed a Health Unit, an Urgent Care Clinic, a Doctor’s Office, or an Emergency Department.
Alternate Project Manager – Minimum three (3) years of supervisory nursing experience with a minimum of three (3) consecutive years’ experience. Within the last three (3) years, the Alternate Project Manager shall have successfully managed a Health Unit, an Urgent Care Clinic, a Doctor’s Office, or an Emergency Department.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license as Registered Nurse, or (2) a current, full, and unrestricted multistate license as part of the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC).
- DEA registration.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must be able to obtain security clearance to access the work site.
- U.S. citizenship.
Skills
- Proficient in oral and written communication in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret healthcare metrics, manage complex budgets, and solve operational challenges.
- Proficient with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), Microsoft Office Suite, and Telemedicine Platforms.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, excluding Federal Holidays – 6:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Compensation
Rate: Starting at $70/hr. based on experience
