RN – 4-Day Week | Primary Care, Functional & Longevity Medicine

Essential Health Sarasota PLLC
Sarasota, FL Full Time
POSTED ON 7/25/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/21/2026

Essential Health Sarasota is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the founding team of our new concierge primary care, functional medicine, and longevity practice in Sarasota, Florida.

This position offers a highly desirable four-day workweek, Tuesday through Friday, with no regularly scheduled weekends. We believe excellent patient care and a healthy, sustainable work environment should go together. The nurse who joins our team will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, practice in a lower-volume setting, and enjoy a consistent three-day weekend.

Essential Health Sarasota is not a conventional high-volume medical office. Our practice is designed around a limited patient panel, longer appointments, strong physician-patient relationships, and highly personalized care. We combine comprehensive primary care with functional medicine, preventive care, cardiometabolic risk reduction, hormone optimization, advanced health assessments, regenerative medicine, and evidence-informed lifestyle interventions.

Our goal is not simply to manage disease, but to help patients improve their health, function, longevity, and quality of life. We are committed to providing an exceptional level of clinical care, communication, accessibility, and personal service.

This is an opportunity to join a new practice from the beginning and meaningfully help shape its culture, workflows, and patient experience.

Our culture

Faith will be a meaningful and natural part of the culture at Essential Health Sarasota. We want to build a workplace shaped by Christian values, including compassion, integrity, humility, kindness, service, and genuine care for others.

We hope to create a close-knit team that supports one another, treats each patient with dignity, and approaches healthcare as an opportunity to serve. Candidates should be comfortable in an environment where faith may be openly discussed and where voluntary team prayer may occasionally be part of the workday. At the same time, we are committed to warmly and respectfully caring for every patient, regardless of background or beliefs.

We are looking for someone who views nursing as more than completing clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will be warm, dependable, service-oriented, highly attentive to detail, and genuinely invested in helping patients improve their health.

Position summary

The Registered Nurse will work closely with the physician to provide personalized clinical care and an exceptional patient experience.

Because this is a small and growing practice, the position will be broad and hands-on. Responsibilities will include direct patient care, phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, IV therapy, patient triage, care coordination, clinical testing, patient education, inventory management, and selected administrative duties.

Strong phlebotomy and peripheral IV insertion skills are essential for this position. The nurse should be comfortable performing frequent blood draws and independently placing peripheral IVs in an outpatient setting. Applicants who do not currently possess strong proficiency in both areas may not be a good fit for this role.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical fundamentals, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The nurse should be adaptable, willing to learn, and comfortable helping wherever needed as the practice grows.
