Central Florida Nursing services in Orlando, FL is looking for licensed practical nurses to join our team. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing standards and facility policies. Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
- Perform basic wound care and change dressings
- Collect samples for testing (blood, urine, etc.)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Report changes in patient condition to RN or physician
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing from an accredited program
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice
- CPR/BLS certification (required)
- Previous clinical experience preferred (varies by employer)
